WBC80H-2K

WBC80H-5K

7.0MHzに同調しているANTを3.5-3.8と

非常通信帯にリモート制御で同調・整合させることが可能です。

3) 使用周波数    4630KHz 

                            3.5MHz〜3.85MHz

WBC80H (High power version of Wide Band Creator for 75m/80m band)

 

WBC80H is basically the same as WBC80 except for maximum power handing capability: 2kw. Other than this, performance and characteristics of WBC80H are the same as WBC80.

Covers continuously from 3.5MHz through 3.8MHz when connected to CR78, the SWR for the band is typically within 1.5 to 1.0.

WBC80H uses a no-point-contact variable Hi-Q inductor for tuning, driven by a DC motor. JA1BBE developed  this model in 2009.

 

The performance of WBC80H is as follows.

1. WBC80H is a powerful addition to the original CD78, which has a limited frequency coverage.

WBC80H provides a whole range coverage from 3.500MHz through 3.805MHz continuously.

2. Maximum RF power is 2kw.

3. SWR can be typically less than 1.5 from 3.5MHz through 3.8MHz.

4. Power supply of 12VDC (1A) is required.

5. RF Connector is type M.

6. 6 wires cable is necessary for controlling the WBC80H.

7. Antenna tuning is very simple, user only adjusting for lowest SWR using an UP/Down switch on the controller box.

8. WBC80H includes a balun.

9. When WBC80H is installed, user may have to shorten the element length of CD78 by 12-18cm each for both elements, versus the original element length.

10. VERY IMPORTANT: WBC80H needs an initial adjustment, selecting “in-tap” and “out-tap” for impedance-matching of the high frequency transformer.
