Radio shack of JA1BBE
My radio shack consists of the independent two radio systems.
One consists of all vacuum tube Collins products, which are some 50 years old now.
Another is a combination of Yaesu and JRC.
Collins equipment are
KWM-2A + 312B-5 + 516F-2 + 30L-1 + SM-3
75S-3C + 32S-3 + 312B-4 + 516F-2 + 30S-1 + EV664.
Yaesu and JRC combination are
FTDX9000MP + C38-B + JRL-3000F

I like doing innovention of ham radio equipment:. motor drive variable inductors for antenna matching mechanism, dynamic antenna control system by phase frequency detector, impedance matching transformers by toroidal-core, etc.
I started this hobby in 1965 in KYOTO. In those days I was called “a crazy radio boy” because I made a lot of receivers, transmitters, and wire antennas around my home. I always listened to radio every day. I was first licensed in 1974 as JA9NBB while I was in Fukui City. I moved to Sagamihara City, Kanagawa, in 1995, where I was licensed as 7L3FEN. Now licensed as JA1BBE at Machida City in TOKYO.
